148 Ministries is partnering again this year with Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana for our “148 Christmas Giving Program”! Will you help us fulfill a need this year by partnering with 148 to bring Christmas to the residents at these VOA facilities!

MOnday PiZZA
Every Monday evening we provide Dominos pizzas and drinks for the residents at Volunteers of America Brandon Hall. This is part of our workout and worship programming for VOA.
Life recovery bible
We provide programming clients FREE Life Recovery Bibles at every worship service we hold at Volunteers of America. We usually give away 20-30 bibles EVERY month. Can you help us fill this need?
FRiday Fruit, Cheese, veggies & cookies
Four times a month, we provide a healthy snack for the residents of VOA. This includes a fruit & cheese tray, veggie tray, cookie tray, gatorades and water. Many of our clients that have recently been incarcerated have not had this type of food for years! This is a way to connect with our clients and show them love by providing these meals every week.
sponsor a client
Some of our clients who are recovering from addictions or trauma either need personal training or more education to help them become self-sufficient. We offer a monthly gym sponsorship package at 148 Wellness that starts at $50/month.
gas cards
These gas cards help our volunteers with weekly fuel expenses as they travel to the residential treatment centers. We also use these for clients who need some help with transportation costs.
Workout kits for residential programs
We are preparing to launch 2 new programs at residential treatment centers in the Indianapolis area. We take this equipment into these centers to provide the workouts. This includes the workout gear, JBL Flip 5 portable speaker, and a roller carry tote.
GAtorade & Water
We provide gatorade and water at every on-site workout program we hold. This covers the cost of one case of each!
devotionals
Many times we are able to offer free devotionals to women in residential treatment centers or those who are incarcerated. This covers the cost for one devotional.
workout clothing
Many of the girls we encounter come right off the streets and have nothing but the clothes on their back. This covers the cost of yoga pants and sports bra for a resident.
